All Weather
If the Earth had one side facing the sun all the time, what would the weather be like?
I've just been thinking about this one today for some reason. I know it would be uninhabitable, and one side would probably be frozen and the other near molten... I was just wondering what the weather systems would be like. I take it there would be no seasons if it faced the same way all the time.
Would there be any wind for example?
I believe that without the conveyor belt in the Atlantic sustained by the earth's rotation, ice would soon begin to cover the entire earth, as it seems to have done at least once during the history of the planet.
