Articulating Tilt
My 2 year old has a dime sized red patch in the very back of the roof of her mouth?
I just noticed this today as she was laughing with her head tilted back. She is very articulate, and says it does not hurt. It is not affecting her appetite. She had some spicey food for lunch today...
Any ideas???

While it can be disconcerting to see sores in your baby's mouth — and to know that she hurts — usually there's no cause for worry.
A canker sore is a roundish white or yellow open sore surrounded by a red halo. Canker sores usually appear inside the cheeks or lips, as well as on the tongue, gums, and soft palate (the soft tissue around and behind the hard roof of the mouth). They usually appear individually but can also show up in small clusters.
Canker sores aren't serious, but they can be painful, especially when your toddler is eating or drinking or when they're touched.
