Corner Mount
How can I mount a light using a round elec box at a 45* angle on corner of a 4X4. Having trouble making mount.?
I don't have a table saw and my circular saw is too inaccurate to try cutting at a 45 degree angle. Is there a mount I can buy that will slip over a corner and let me screw the mount to a corner, then give me a flat plate at a 45* angle? I'll be mounting a round electrical box so I can mount my light at an angle. Yes, I COULD mount my light parallel with the face, but it would leave large parts of my yard unlit. The light has three heads on it but I cannot adjust the angle they face except up and down. Any clues on any corner mounts?
Buy 2 90 degree brackets(extra long) mount them on the flats. Now bend them to a 45. Now you can mount a 1x4 to the brackets and also drive a long screw into the ''point'' of the corner.
