Best picture quality for sony xbr Series Lcd and my ps3? HELP!?
I want the best picture quality for my Blu Ray movies and gaming, i already have an Hdmi Cable i just want to know how to set the settings on my ps3 and my tv. Thank you.
Well for a DIY method, the best bet is to get a calibration DVD. Or rather in your case get a BluRay calibration disc. TV stores will usually carry these. That will help you optimize the TV settings. Just do it during the time of day when the lighting best reflects the majority of your TV usage (the lighting will impact the settings you set).
If you want the absolute best setup you need to fork over some cash and hire a home theatre specialist. They basically have access to hidden system menus and can further calibrate your TV. It is something you could potentially look up online and do yourself. But if you don't fully understand those settings you could really muddle the image good.
The calibration DVDs/BluRay discs are typically pretty good though. They might not be the absolute most optimized, but they generally get you to a pretty good place settings wise.
