Dlp Lamp. Should I avoid OEM?

I’ve found some things that say to avoid OEM. Thoughts?

Anyone know how to find the number of hours on my current lamp?

The only reason to avoid OEM would be if the price is significantly cheaper. If prices are the same, OEM is the best way to go.
