What can I do about screen stains?
I have a Vizio L32 HDTV 10A tv. It's about 2-3 years old and some how I have some stains on my screen, I believe I have two of them. They're faint sometimes but other times (like when your watching something in black and white) you can really notice them and they seem to be yellow. They're very distracting and most of the time it's all I can notice. I don't know if it's some kind of burn mark or what but I've never done anything to my tv to have it damaged like that. I looked around on google for some info and it seems that other people have the same problem and it seems that Vizio says it's a screen defect. But what I want to know, is there anything I can do about them? I don't want to have a an expensive tv with stains all over it. Thanks.
Have you tried to clean it with Windex? ONLY ONCE ! That would strip any gunk off your TV.
But if it's still present after cleaning, then it would be an LCD failure....
