Not getting sound from different tv stations from new VIZIO Lcd Tv BUT the tv in the living room gets sound?
from every channel. Why would sound not come in from certain channels. Both tv's are LCDs. Both were purchased this year. The one in the living room ony gets sound from certain channels and not others. Why is that?
there could be a problem in the way you split the cable, or the actual cable after the split. inspect the cable for problems, and try putting a different splitter
try a different cable too if possible
check to make sure the sound is set to stereo and not mono or something else
then try switching the tvs, if the new tv works in the living room and the old one doesnt in the other room, its a cable issue, call your cable company and have them check up on the cable, splitter w/e
if the old tv still works in the other room but the new tv doesn in the living room the problem is from the tv so you should call vizio n see wat u can do, or return it to where u bought it.
if they now both work, theres something wrong with the new tv and you should contact vizio and ask them what they can do. or it could be the cable, or you might just want to leave them after they both work,,, vbut it mite hav problems after the warranty is over...
